Was Ice Box, now Battery Box

I wanted to add a house battery in addition to the starting battery, but did not want ALL the weight on the port side. Where to put it... Since I never used the cockpit ice chest, I cut it out and made it into a battery compartment. I lost 4" of interior space that I took off the rear-most cushion on that side. I had to re-drill the holes for the galley sink and build a new wall, but it works Great!
