I here this is common on the 28s. I dont know if it is caused by taking it in and out of the water every year or a soft grounding. I am grinding it out now for repair. Also had small crack at rear of keel and it ended being a hole that I can see the tank thru. This was repaired in 2005 but I found they just patched and did not grind to the glass as can be seen in picture.
