**This simple system using an extension ladder as a crutch and the halyard winch on the mast worked excellent to lower my mast.Excuse the crude drawing but hopefully it helps if you need it.(1-2 people to guide the mast while 1 person eases down the front stay through the halyard winch on the mast).Once the mast is resting on the ladder, you can lower the extension ladder down, then release the mast pin at the base and walk the mast forward, using the ladder to hold the mast as you slide it forward.Be sure to secure the ladder in every direction to keep it stable!**Suggestion only - not responsible if you try it and are unsuccessful.
