The new refit covered up all the old and outdated looking galley. It increased the counterspace and storage. With the hinged top I can still use the galley compartment but opted to get rid of smaller one. I added electric galley pump and three drawer storage. I used solid surface like in the expensive homes. Small pieces are available at counter top stores. My best friend made new tops possible since he owns a counter top store. Ice box is still functional but blends better in the top surface than before making it almost hidden except for flush pull. The drawers are the most usuable space created thus far.
