If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Without question. We bought this boat in May 2010, and could not be happier with the decision. It may represent the best value found for a modern layout sailboat. Separate forward and aft cabins, all lines lead aft (including reefing lines), shallow draft wing keel,cabin top traveler, roller furler, swim step. We were very fortunate to have purchased her from an owner who took very good care of her - A very important consideration. Like any boat her age, we made sure fuel, waste, and exhaust hoses were in good shape, as well as other routine wear and tear items such as pumps, belts, exhaust valve etc. A survey is critical for a boat this age.  
Gear that's been added As we are on a mooring, we added a portable generator and a microwave.  
Structural or complex improvements  
The boat's best features This is a modern sailboat,that was a fore runner of many current production boat layouts. It sails well single handed. It includes plenty of week end storage, 60 gallons of fresh water, a 15 gallon holding tank and 19 gallons of fuel.  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.  
Sailing characterisitcs With the wing keel and shallow draft she point up wind pretty well, and can go about anywhere.  
Motoring characterisitcs Motors very well, about 6 knots at 2800 RPM, fairly quiet, uses about 3/4 gallons of diesel an hour.  
Liveability My wife and I just spent 8 days aboard on a Fall trip. Nights were in the 40's and 50's so the large open saloon was a nice feature.
