If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? I don't still own this boat, but it was a great boat nonetheless. The headroom is excellent and the separate head area is a plus. It sails well, but is sensitive to being overcanvassed. If reefed "early and ofter," the sailing qualities are very good. I was surprised to sail her quite effectively with the working jib alone. The negative is that the rudder is not beefy enough, and can break. This can spoil the whole afternoon. New or repaired rudders need extra fiberglass matting wrapped arond the area of greatest stress, at the lower gudgeon. The rudder is also deeper than the keel when the board is up. This can cause the rudder to hit ground when the keel clears an obstruction. With these ovservations aside, the boat is a great value and a good performer.
