The boat is sailed on Bays, sounds, or protected salt water
How the boat is used Day sailing
Normal wind strength 16-22 knots

Owner bought the boat in 1986
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? YES I WOULD . I PAID $10,000 IN 86 FOR THIS BOAT AND IT HAS RETURNED ME AT LEAST A MILLION IN PLEASURE .
Gear that's been added I ADDED A ROLLER FURLER , MAINSHEET TRAVELER,NEW MAIN & JIB ,ANCHOR LIGHT ,DECK LIGHT , MARINE HEAD , NEW COMPASS, RADIO, DEPTH FINDER,LORAN,AM FM STEREO, NEW CUSHIONS , GENOA TRACKS & CARS,SPINAKER, TOPPING LIFT, DOWN HAUL& TRACK ON MAST, DOUBLE LIFE LINES, BOARDING LADDER,MOVED CLEATS ON BOW BACK AND ADDED LINE CHOCKS,ADDED 350# LEAD IN BILGE, NEW BILGE BOARD ,TWO BILGE PUMPS ONE MANUAL ONE ELECTRIC,COCKPIT SHEET LINE BOXES,TWO SPEED PRIMARY WINCHES, MAIN &JIB WINCH
Structural or complex improvements I BUILT A SMALL EXTENSION ON THE STARBOARD COUNTER FOR A ONE BURNER ORIGO ALCOHOL STOVE, BUILT A COUPLE OF CABINETS TO HOLD BINOCULARS AND STUFF LIKE SUNGLASSES ECT.
The boat's best features INEXPENSIVE TO OPERATE CAN BE TRAILERED YOU CAN RAISE AND LOWER THE MAST WITH THE HELP OF A FRIEND .SAILS IN ANY WIND THEY MADE QUITE A FEW SO PARTS ARE EASY TO LOCATE ,HIGH SIDES WHICH MAKE FOR A DRY BOAT,ROOMY FOR A 25 VERY FAST BEAT JUST ABOUT EVERY OTHER 25 AND QUIT A FEW LARGER BOATS PEOPLE ASK WHEN I PASS WHAT SIZE IS THAT BOAT THEY CAN'T BELIEVE ITS A 25
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. THE ORIGINAL MAIN SHEET TRAVELER HAD TO GO THE ORIGINAL SAILS WERE MADE BY NEIL PRIDE HAD TO MUCH DRAFT DID NOTHING TO WEATHER BUT HEEL THE BOAT HAD NEW FLATTER SAILS MADE GOES TO WEATHER LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIVE PLUS I ADDED 350# LEAD IN BILGE WAS A BIT TENDER NOW PLOWS AHEAD LIKE A TRAIN CHANGED THE WHOLE GEOMETRY OF THE BOAT.GOT RID OF OLD CENTER BOARD PENNENT CHANGED TO ALL ROAD PENNENT WORKS MUCH BETTER I CHANGE THE ROPE EVERY OTHER YEAR SO FAR NO PROBLEMS ITS BEEN ABOUT 12 YEARS CHANGED TOPPING LIFE THE OLD ONE WAS NOT ADJUSTABLE
Sailing characterisitcs WHEN I FIRST GOT THE BOAT THE SAILS LOOKED PERFECT BUT HAD TO MUCH DRAFT MADE THE BOAT HEEL GOING TO WEATHER BUT WERE GREAT DOWNWIND I HAD NEW SAIL MADE WITH LESS DRAFT AND ADDED 350# OF LEAD NOW SHE SAILS BEAUTIFUL GOES TO WEATHER FINE THE NEW TRAVELER HELPED TO. I CAN GET A NICE CURVE TO THE SAIL BY PULLING THE TRAVELER ALL THE WAY TO WEATHER AND LETTING THE SAIL OUT TILL I GET THE NICE CURVE THAT PUTS YOU IN THE GROOVE. WITH THE OLD SAILS I HAD TO REEF EARLY NOW I DON'T REEF AT ALL . I GOT A 110, 130 , 140 ,160 ALL I USE IS THE 110 FROM NO WIND TO 25KNOTS
Motoring characterisitcs I GOT A NINE ,NINE EVINRUDE, THE ORIGINAL MOTOR .DOES ABOUT 5.5 WIDE OPEN CHARGES THE BATTERYS WHILE RUNNING ITS HUNG ON A BRACKET STARBOARD SIDE 15 YEARS NO COMPLAINTS.
Liveability HEY ITS A 25 FOOTER GREAT WEEKENDER BUT LIKE I SAID ITS 25 FEET.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) [builder]
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any I BOUGHT IT FROM A PRIVATE PARTY
Other comments I'LL PROBABLY KEEP IT FOR AS LONG AS I CAN SAIL THEN I'LL GIVE IT TO ONE OF MY GRAND KIDS WITH THE STIPULATION THEY TAKE ME OUT OFTEN
