If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Sure.I think it is a great boat for beginners. There is a lot of room for error on this vessel!

The boat's best features Stability and quality.  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Raising the mast.  
Sailing characterisitcs We were caught in a storm on Lake Huron with waves of 10 feet and gusts in excess of 25 knots and my Mariner did just fine, although it was a bumpy ride!  
Motoring characterisitcs Elect. Trolling motor  
Liveability Maybe fine for a midget but I think one could stay in it for about a week.
