If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again?	Yes! The O'day 22 is a great boat for what I use her for, which is daysailing or the occasional weekend along the Alabama/Florida coast. I only draft 2.5 feet, so I can pull up to most any beach in the bay. I solo all the time and this is the perfect boat for "comfort sailing". My kids love her too.

Structural or complex improvements	No.
The boat's best features	Ease of sailing. Very forgiving for a beginner.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.
Sailing characterisitcs	Pretty slow in light air, up to 7 knots, but fine above that.
Motoring characterisitcs	Great. I have a honda 4-stroke 8 hp that cranks every time with one pull. I get around 7 knots under motor.
Liveability	Fine for a weekend with a kid or two, but a little cramped. We do fine though with the porta-potty, sink, and coleman stove.
