Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Weakest area of boat without a doubt is the lower pintle & gudgeon. Mine snapped twice, once while crossing the gulf stream at 10 PM.I had mine remanufactured at local stainless steel shop to twice the thickness of the prior, this is a MUST for all owners! Beware!See review by Tom Emhke his snapped too!
Sailing characterisitcs Need to tighten forestay and give aft rake to mast to be able to point.
Motoring characterisitcs Good power from Westerbeake 10-2
Liveability No real ammenities down below, nice to sail up in cockpit
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) [builder]
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Eastern Yacht Hingham Mass, Shep Shove was great!
