The boat's best features After All The REPAIRS Are Done, This Boat Should Be LOW Maintenance. I like The Keel/Centerboard. I Think This Boat Sails Good And Points Well. Although It Sails Slow In Light Winds. It Is Easy To Sail. Easy To Store For The Winter, In My back Yard. My Wife And I Sleep On This Boat On Weekends And Vaction. She Is Sixfoot,One And I am Five Elevan. It Is A Bit Small But WE Get By.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. The Chainplates,Or Deck Area Has Cracked. This Has Been Repaired With Epoxy And S.S.Backing Plates. This Seams To Be Working Good. Have Not Had Any More Problems In This Area. Have Sailed In 20 Knot Winds,And Chainplates Are O.K.
Sailing characterisitcs 20Knot Winds Seams To Much For This Boat. But If I Reefed The Main It May Sail Fine? The Next Project For This Boat Is A Mainsail Reefing Kit.
Motoring characterisitcs 8hp Johnson Works Great With A 25inch Shaft On Lake Michigan In 4 Foot Seas. Hall Speed Approx. 6Knots.
Liveability Works Fine For Weekends And Vactions Not Ment To Be Lived On.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) [builder]
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any NO
Other comments Fun Boat To Own. And I Have Fun Working On The Boat. I Think I Drive My Wife Nuts About Sailing And Boat Projects!
