Location of boat wilmington,NC
The boat is sailed on Bays, sounds, or protected salt water
How the boat is used Weekends and longer

Average size of crew 2-4

Owner bought the boat in 1988
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? LOVE this boat!!! She has brought us so much pleasure over the years. We have cruised her all the way down the Hudson on one occation and also now on the ICW and coastal NC,and the Cape Fear River. We have made her very comfortable for living on for our short trips. She has full instrumentation and we use a Walker Bay 10 with a 3 horse evenrude as a tender. She has a dodger which we really appretiate. We had an 8 horse 4 stroke honda on her when she was new and now we have repowered with another, but with a long shaft. There has NEVER been a drop of water in her bilge, she is always dry. She is a pleasure to sail, but is best under 20 knots.Would buy her again!
Gear that's been added Stereo,instrumentation..depth,knot,wind.Deck lights, lifline cushions, drink swings on the life lines, harken racing series traveler system, compass,VHF on swing bracket inside companion way, dodger and awning, companion screens and hatch screens, propane grill in cockpit off stern pulpit, replaced cleats with aluminum ones, cockpit lights,12 volt hella fan for aft cabin.
Structural or complex improvements We have rebeded the chain plates and redone the hull to deck joint to starboard. We replaced the port above the galley and added a port in the aft cabin.
The boat's best features Her ease to sail and creature comforts for a small cruiser! She very pretty!!!!
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. as mentioned above
Sailing characterisitcs she is a pleasure to sail but will show a little lee helm until the wind picks up.
Motoring characterisitcs With the short shaft, the motor would come out of the water on occations.
Liveability Plenty of room for a couple! Although we have had two couples sleeping below and used the settees instead of the v berth
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) [builder]
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any We had a great experience with the dealer we used. We bought her from Yankee Yacht on lake George NY
Other comments It's really a shame that Oday is gone. They are quality boats for the prices that they sold for. We couldn't find anything as equipped or as large anywhere for the money now.
