Owner bought the boat in 2016
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes. It was the perfect boat for the time.
Gear that's been added Hatch for bow and mast step access. Eye bolts for stowage and rudder safety line. Paddle storage clips. Boom vang.
Structural or complex improvements Remounted loose mast step with locking nuts. Repaired cracked mast opening in the deck and reinforced the area with a welded steel plate. Replaced loose bow eye and reinforced the area.
The boat's best features Fun. Easy setup. Relaxed dry sailing.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Stock rudder retention clip is in adequate. Add a line to the rudder stock.
Sailing characterisitcs Easy and forgiving. The rudder can be touchy. a bungie cord tiller tamer helps.
Motoring characterisitcs Paddles well with a paddle board paddle.
Liveability A short nap is the most you can hope for.
