How the boat is used Weekends and longer

Average size of crew 2-4

Owner bought the boat in 1999
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Definitely. I bought the boat cheaply and have enjoyed sailing it and making various improvements.
Gear that's been added I have added a cabin fan, re-rigged the anchor off the bow (it was stowed in the cockpit), made new cushions, replaced the stove.
Structural or complex improvements I re-finished the hull. When I bought the boat, it had a peeling clearcoat, which I left on the first season. Since then, I sanded it off and compounded and waxed the entire hull.
The boat's best features It's a great all-around boat. Everything works on it and it performs really well. It is pretty heavy, and yet has enough sail. It comes to hull speed very easily under sail. The sails fit well and sit well. The boat is also very comfortable.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. I don't like the furling system because it is difficult to reef. It is the continuous line system, which was popular in the 70s but no longer. I also find the tiller a nuisance when powering.
Sailing characterisitcs Fast and responsive.
Motoring characterisitcs The atomic 4 is a great engine. It is quiet and powerful. I know most people prefer diesel, but I like the smooth performance of this gas engine.
Liveability The boat is very comfortable. My only complaint is that the two berths in the main cabin are a bit tight. The quarter-berth and the v-berth are good. I also like 6'headroom.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) [builder]
